I recently received my Protouch FX keyboard protector as the last piece of the puzzle of ultimate protection for my MacBook Pro. I must say I was a bit leery from some other reviews that the protector would alter my typing or ability to do so. I love it! It is very much unnoticed! It fits very well and my fingers just glide across the keyboard as if I am Liberace using a computer..The background color is a bit noticeable but does not look "bad". The only issue is the top corners have a bit of a curl to them, other than that-LOVES it! I am glad this is the one I finally decided on!

I've purchased iSkin for my previous laptop (a PowerBook) and really appreciated having the protection over my keyboards. It's amazing how much dust and crumbs the iSkin protected my keyboard from. However, the problem with the older generations of iSkin is that it's hard to see the letters of your keyboard in the dark, as the iSkin dims the LED lighting that comes through the keyboard. With Protouch FX, the printed keyboard caps allows the keyboard LED light to shine through, which makes it so much easier to type in the dark. I don't find it to be difficult to type with the iSkin over my keyboard at all. Highly recommend this product!
