Easy to use and bright as daylight without the hassle of daylight. I can now see to thread a fine needle! It is also great for just reading my favorite book. When not using, it is easy to move out of the way and is very stable. No complaints. WOULD be nice to have the option to purchase an additional magnifier of different size/shape (larger rectangle or square).

Great to help you see small work such as needlepoint. It is nice that it is freestanding so you don't have to have something to attach it to. (I usually Use while sitting in a chair that would have no place to clip other types of lamps.). The negatives are that it really isn't portable and it is unstable. Someone slightly brushed it and it fell over. The light bulb replacements are expensive so I now guard the lamp and bulb.
