I've been using one of these little gems for over 20 years and it still works flawlessly. Great output & grind adjustment. The only other pepper mill that I could recommend (in addition to this one) is the Unicorn Magnum Plus Pepper Mill (9-in.). The Perfex is "the" pepper mill that every well equipped kitchen should have!

We've had a set, labelled "P"&"S" respectively, for going on 24 years this month. Indestructible, reliable, easy to adjust from very fine to great coarse grinds. Easy to load & did I mention indestructible? Not a problem from being knocked off shelves to the ground, into the stew pot, being vigorously over enthusiastically ground by young chefs... lovely timeless look as well. I am so happy we were given these - clearly by experienced cooks who knew we would enjoy them for decades! I would replace these in a heartbeat if they ever went missing. Will get a set for DF's daughter when she gets married (passing it on).

I've had the perfex salt & pepper mills for years now, and they not only do an excellent job but look wonderful on the table. This is a product that you will enjoy for years to come. Highly recommended.
